Okay guys, I usually don't do this and I absolutely HATE having to ask, but I've hit a little snag with the site.

There's a feature I'm having coded, now I thought I had enough funds to pay for this feature, unfortuntely, I don't and on top of that, also have to make the payments for the server for next month, all in all, the total of this is $160.00.

Again, I don't normally ask for any money from the members, if you want to donate, you can donate, but I'm asking you to help keep Rev online without any downtime or interruptions and to help us get a feature I've been looking for (a custom mod for the moderating team page, it'll make it a lot neater and more professional looking trust me.)

Basically what this particular feature is a re-designed staff list page that will label each staff member more accordingly. Example, Diva Shadow is a manager, which is a limited administrator, instead of showing her as an admin, it will show her as what she is, that's a manager. Another feature we are looking to get is Social Groups, which costs an additional $50 wich will allow users to create their own social groups and create discussions within the social group. Finally, another feature is custom profile styling for VIPs and staff. VIP members will be able to change the coloring and styling of their profiles.

Anyone who donates through the donation system will be given a custom user title of their choosing. Those who purchase a VIP subscription for a year will receive an additional year of VIP at no extra cost to them. So that's 2 years of VIP for the price of one.

Those who do both, purchase VIP and then donate additional money will be given the 2 years of VIP and a hug from me. :D

Just to remind everyone, this is a non-profit site, every little bit of money we get from donations or VIP subscriptions go right back into the site in some way, whether it be paying the server's bill or for additional features.

+1 good sir. you have your thoughts set on trying to make us top dog. xD i've seen people take donations and stuff to benefit the gameplay of their customers. but the majority of the money is pocketed. which causes for downtimes. hosts get mad. shut your server off for a while. then you have to bicker with them to get it back up. yeah its not fun when you take peoples moneys and use it for your own. so like i said.. +1 good sir. and the like button is very very helpful. its like a facebook flip off. but better xD now you need to add in a dislike button.

I see you got your sig working xD

Well yes, the donations are actually used to make the server payments and upgrades. This is also for the site here, not just the PSO server (it's on a separate provider) but donations go towards both.

Aren't most of those features default on vBulletin? I know we had them back when the site was on vBulletin... :|

I wish I could donate, but I really don't have money myself and I have a business trip coming up very soon which look like it'll be pretty expensive.

Some are. Some aren't :) vBulletin is old and outdated software. I refuse to use vBulletin 4 as it looks like crap no matter how you slice it. :) IPB has always been the leading brand on cutting edge technology. However, XF may be catching up pretty quickly :P
